VX Search Server is a rule-based file search server, which runs in the background as a service and provides a full-scale GUI client application allowing one to connect to the server locally or via the network, search files in one or more directories, disks, network shares or NAS storage devices, schedule periodic file search operations, automatically save file search reports and perform file management operations.

In addition to the client GUI application and the command line utility, VX Search Enterprise provides a web-based management interface allowing one to connect to the server, perform file search operations and review file search results using a regular web browser locally or via the network.
